Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfy with lovely views overlooking the aqua sports area, but the service was a bit hit-or-miss. The location was perfect for exploring Dundee, but the dining options left something to be desired. Overall, good for a stay but with room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was a wonderful experience overall. The rooms were fantastic and comfortable, but the pool was unexpectedly cold despite the full heating. The service was impeccable, with the staff being extremely helpful and friendly. The location by the quay was spotless with great views and convenient facilities. The dining experience was a mix; it had superb buffet and a la carte offerings, but there was a disappointing episode with a long wait and pricey breakfast. However, the hotel facilities were great.
The hotel had a few ups and downs. The rooms were a good size and nicely designed but lacked some amenities like a full-length mirror and stocked mini bar. The service was helpful and efficient, especially when addressing issues. The location was convenient, close to the city center and transportation options. The dining experience was enjoyable with a great variety of breakfast choices. However, the rooms felt quite cold upon arrival, and some room essentials were missing.
The hotel had a good location for visiting nearby attractions but lacked variety in dining options. The rooms were warm, clean, and comfortable. The service, despite challenges, was excellent overall. The location was ideal for exploring Dundee, although the dining experience fell short of expectations. The facilities were well-maintained and satisfactory for a pleasant stay.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely fantastic. The room was amazing, offering a walk-in shower, double bath, huge bed, and a separate lounge with a massive comfy sofa. Despite some minor inconveniences, the service was top-notch, with staff always being helpful and apologetic. The location was perfect, near various attractions and with relaxing amenities nearby. The dining experience was good overall, although some improvements could enhance it. The facilities were great, making my stay even more enjoyable.
My stay at the hotel was wonderful! The rooms were comfortable, spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated for a special celebration. The service was impeccable, with friendly and helpful staff all around. The location was excellent for exploring nearby attractions, but could get noisy at times. The dining experience was fantastic with a wide selection, and the facilities were top-notch.
The hotel is conveniently located near the town centre with rooms featuring a patio door for better ventilation. The service is a mix of friendly interactions and some areas needing improvement. The location is ideal for visiting popular attractions and offers great spa facilities. Dining options are varied, and the hotel is overall a good choice for different types of trips.
Rooms with a great view of the Tay and the V and A were a fair size and equipped with great storage, fridge, tea, coffee, iron and board, fan, case stand. I appreciated being allowed robes and slippers during my stay. The service was wonderful, especially the lady at breakfast who went above and beyond. Even though it took a long time to serve drinks at times, the staff were overall very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel was excellent, close to the Tay River, the city center, and the train station, making it a perfect spot for a weekend away. The dining experience offered cooked-to-order meals and an extensive buffet, although the entry process was somewhat confusing. The facilities were modern and well-kept, providing a pleasant atmosphere. The price for the value received was fair in my opinion.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The rooms were exceptional, and the spa was a great choice. Breakfast in the best room was lovely and spacious, making it very central for drinks or food.
The hotel offers spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean rooms with a modern decor. The sauna-like ambiance, however, may not be ideal for everyone upon arrival. The service was a mix of welcoming gestures and some minor inconveniences. The location is excellent, providing a peaceful atmosphere close to the quay. Dining options were varied but pricing was a concern for some. Overall, the facilities offered a pleasant stay with room to improve on value for money.
